The Counseling and Student Support 甘肃快三 department consists of a team of four counselors who are responsible for the personal counseling needs of SCDS students, and who use developmentally appropriate and evidence-based counseling interventions to advocate for students and to support them in their social, emotional, personal, and academic development. Both prevention and intervention are integral components of the program.
School counselors provide direct service to students and their families, and consult and collaborate with faculty, administrators, and outside providers. They provide outside counseling referrals where necessary or desired by the student or family. The counseling team plays a vital role in the admissions process and assists new students and their families in making a successful transition to SCDS. At each level, the program includes educational programs for students and families.
In addition, the Learning Support Program provides support to students who have been identified and assessed with specific learning needs in grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The focus is on helping students successfully navigate Country Day's curricular expectations and maximize academic potential.
