A HUGE congratulations to senior Megan Kemp. She recently returned from Atlanta where she received the K-12 STUDENT OF THE YEAR award from the Georgia Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP). Each year the Georgia chapter of the AATSP selects ONE high school student from the state to be honored as the Student of the Year. The honor is given to an outstanding student who shows a strong commitment to the study of language and distinguishes him/herself from among peers as a dedicated, enthusiastic and empowering student. Congratulations to Megan and her Spanish teacher, Ms. Ms. Michelle Dumais!
